The Masonry Association of Great Britain is proud to announce that Chief Executive Eve Livett has been appointed Junior Vice President of the Guild of Bricklayers — marking a significant milestone both personally and for the wider masonry sector.
Eve becomes the first woman to hold a leadership position within the Guild, reflecting the evolving future of the industry and the growing importance of wider representation across the trade.
This appointment strengthens the relationship between the Guild of Bricklayers and the Masonry Association of Great Britain, creating new opportunities to support members, promote skills development, and help shape the future direction of the sector.
Speaking on the appointment, Eve said:
“It is a huge honour to take on the role of Junior Vice President within the Guild of Bricklayers. The Guild has a proud history of supporting excellence within our trade, and I’m passionate about helping modernise and strengthen its future relevance for the next generation.
I’m particularly keen to play an active role in the inter-college competitions, supporting young talent entering the industry and helping create greater opportunities for participation across the sector — especially for women considering careers in masonry and construction.”
