A major milestone for the Masonry Association of Great Britain just 18 months after launch
The Masonry Association of Great Britain (MAGB) is celebrating a major milestone after its CEO, Eve Livett, was named in the Membership World Top 100 – recognising the most influential people working across the membership organisation sector.
Eve was officially recognised at the Membership World Top 100 Awards ceremony, where she was placed 48th in the Top 100 – an incredible achievement for both Eve personally and the Masonry Association of Great Britain.
And perhaps what makes the recognition even more significant is just how young the Association is.
MAGB has been established for just 18 months.
In that short time, the Association has grown from a new organisation with a vision for the future of masonry into an increasingly influential voice representing businesses right across the masonry supply chain.
Being recognised alongside established membership organisations and leaders from across the sector is a significant achievement – and one that reflects the incredible work being undertaken by the MAGB community.
“This recognition belongs to our members”
Speaking about the recognition, MAGB CEO Eve Livett said:
“I am absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to have been recognised in the Membership World Top 100 and to have been placed 48th.
“But this recognition isn’t just about me. It is about what we have built together through the Masonry Association of Great Britain.
“We have only been established for 18 months, and the progress we have made in that time has been extraordinary. None of it would be possible without our members and the wider masonry supply chain getting behind the Association, sharing their knowledge, challenging us, supporting our work and believing in what we are trying to achieve.
“MAGB was created to give the masonry industry a stronger, more united voice – and our members are at the heart of everything we do.”
18 months of momentum
Since launching, MAGB has worked to establish itself as a collective voice for the masonry sector, bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, factors and associated businesses.
The Association’s work is centred around four key pillars:
Skills & Training | Technical & Representation | Industry Engagement | Social Value
Across these areas, MAGB has continued to develop new initiatives, partnerships and opportunities for its members.
From supporting the development of skills and training programmes and engaging with colleges and training providers, to technical work around competence, compliance and the Building Safety Act, the Association is increasingly bringing the masonry supply chain together around the issues that matter.
MAGB has also strengthened its engagement with wider construction organisations, industry bodies, manufacturers, contractors, home builders and other stakeholders – ensuring that masonry has a seat at the table in conversations shaping the future of construction.
A recognition of the whole masonry supply chain
While Eve’s name is the one appearing on the Top 100, the Association sees the recognition as a celebration of the entire MAGB membership and the wider masonry industry.
The Association’s growth has been driven by businesses willing to come together, share expertise and collectively raise standards across the sector.
48th in the Membership World Top 100, just 18 months after launching, is therefore more than an individual accolade. It is a reflection of the momentum behind MAGB and the strength of the community that has been built around it.
From the manufacturers producing the materials, to suppliers, factors, contractors, trainers and specialist businesses working throughout the supply chain – this achievement belongs to the industry.
And this is only the beginning…
The recognition comes at an exciting time for the Masonry Association of Great Britain.
With the Association continuing to grow its membership, expand its technical and training activity, develop new partnerships and strengthen its representation across the construction industry, the next chapter is already well underway.
Eve added:
“Being recognised at number 48 is something I am incredibly proud of, but I genuinely see it as a starting point rather than a destination.
“There is so much more we want to achieve for masonry. We want to continue bringing our industry together, developing skills, supporting competence, championing good practice and making sure masonry is properly represented in the future of construction.
“I am hugely grateful to every single member who has supported MAGB over the last 18 months. This is your Association, and this recognition is a reflection of what we can achieve when our industry comes together.”
A huge congratulations to Eve – and to the MAGB community
The Masonry Association of Great Britain would like to thank every member, partner, supporter and organisation across the masonry supply chain that has contributed to the Association’s journey so far.
18 months. A national voice. A growing membership. And now, a place among the Membership World Top 100.
48th place is a fantastic milestone – and we are only getting started.
